Dr Christopher Batty

Graduated from Liverpool Medical School in 1989, having enjoyed an active role in medical student life, being Treasurer of the Society in his fourth year and Captain of the Medical School Football Team for three years. Following House Officer jobs, he moved to Macclesfield in Cheshire for his vocational training and took a year out to work in Australia prior to finishing his GP training. Since being in Lincoln, he has taken up the position of Club Doctor to Lincoln City Football Club since 1996 and has graduated from Nottingham University with an MSc in Sports Medicine. Within the practice, he is responsible for finance and complaints, with a shared responsibility for personnel and is also responsible for the practice appointment system. Clinically, he has interests in asthma, diabetes and minor surgery in addition to Sports Medicine. He is also a GP with a Special Interest in Orthopaedics.
