Graduated from University Complutense in Madrid in 1989 and moved to the UK where she initially gained wide postgraduate experience in surgical jobs, and particularly in orthopaedics. She spent one year as Anatomy Demonstrator at St George’s Medical School in London and passed Primary FRCS in 1995. She then joined The Greenwich Vocational Training Scheme for General Practice in South East London. She completed her training in Lincolnshire in 2001 after placements in psychiatry in Lincoln and GP Registrar at Market Rasen. She joined Minster Medical Practice as a GP Assistant and became a Salaried Doctor in 2003. She achieved ALS Provider Certificate in 1998 and DFFP in 2001. She ran a teenage Family Planning Clinic at Market Rasen. Her interests include gynaecology, family planning, orthopaedics and minor surgery.
