When We Are Closed
During the week from 6.30 pm to 8.00 the following morning, at weekends and Bank Holidays when the surgery is closed please ring 111. This is a freephone number from both landlines and mobile telephones. This allows you direct access to the Out of Hours service.
If you call the Practice telephone number when we are closed you will be given the option to be transferred to 111, however your service provider will charge you for this call.
The Out of Hours services is available for urgent consultations which cannot wait until your GP surgery is open.
NHS Direct
In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call NHS Direct (0845 4647) to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.
Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
Accident & Emergency
The nearest A&E Department is at Lincoln County Hospital, Greetwell Road, Lincoln, LN2 2JP. Telephone: 01522 512512.
NHS Walk-in Centre
There is a Walk-in Centre at 63 Monks Road, Lincoln LN2 5HP. It is open Monday to Sunday 8.00 am - 8.00 pm. The centre is run by a team of experienced nurses and GPs. You do not need to make an appointment.
