Nurse Clinics

Our Nurse Practitioner is available by appointment every day to see patients with any newly presenting problems. She is able to assess, diagnose, refer and prescribe medication if required (over 1 year olds only).

Our practice nurses are available by appointment for general nursing duties, e.g. dressings, immunisations, ear syringing etc, which the Doctor may arrange.

Attached Services

Though not employed by the Practice, these professionals liaise with surgery personnel and have full use of our facilities to provide additional services for our patients.

The Health Visiting Team are available for your routine baby and child reviews along with confidential advice regarding all aspects of their care and health. 

Community Midwife

If no response you can contact The Community Midwifery Office on 01522 573772 where you can leave a message.

Our midwife provides the majority of antenatal and postnatal care and is at the surgery on Thursday and Friday mornings. She works with a small team of midwives practicing in the North of the City.

Non NHS/Private Services

Certain services provided by your Doctor are not covered by the NHS, e.g. completion of private medical insurance forms etc, for which you may be asked to pay a fee. A list of the fees we charge is displayed in the Reception area but please ask the Receptionist for details if you are in doubt.

All forms for completion by the Doctor should be handed to the Receptionist and up to 10 days allowed before collection. It should be noted that there may be a charge for certain travel vaccinations.
